I guess speaking with agent isn’t accurate, isnt it? I think they provide limited info for your file which makes sense too.Best way to get details is GCMS notes

Total waste of time. Personally I think those call agents make up shit in their head and tell you so you can get off the phone.
I'm Apr 10 AOR, been on IP2 since Apr 18th. I called CIC on June 10 exactly two months after AOR to find out progress. Agent told me eligibility has not started. That criminal background is ongoing for my spouse, not yet started for me. SS not started on either. I was worried that my file is just being ignored.
Two days letter I get ADR for my work experience and RPRF request lol.
If the agent was being accurate, how come CIC is already working on me to request work adr and even prompt RPRF?

I've paid and submitted adr as well, so back to waiting

Strange to find that things suddenly start happening when we call them or order for GCMS notes. Otherwise the application gathers dust in the VO.

It would be so nice if they could come up with a few defined stages and update the status based on that to help people understand their VO and the stage that their application is currently in.

I was happy to see the cosmetic changes in the application website. Was hoping they mention the VO and also come out with some definite and concrete process. Think its too difficult for them.

its really frustrating calling them ... I decided to wait for another one month n then gonna apply for gcms ...

Yes exctly, the only time i had nice agent was first time i called to inquire about requested pOF even i m CEC n he gave all the details n info about proof of sibling in Canada, n PR proof for my sister n such, but after that its just not fun calling, its like you wait 30-50 mins n they tell you general info n rules

You will need PCC for Canada as well n that doesnt take long to get done as compared to your home country PCC, i got mine in a week
