TRV Refusal need help

Hello to everyone,

Good afternoon. Here's the problem. My uncle submitted a TRV application on March and got a refusal. Because he is not in Canada, so he filed an Access to Information Request right after the refusal. Usually it takes about 30 days to get reply from CIC, but it's been two and half months since the request now and still zero reply. So I'm wondering if anyone know is there some sort of delay inside CIC and what not? Did anyone do this "Access to Information Request" thing during the same time frame and experienced the delayed replay as well?

Sometimes it could take more than average processing time. Submit case specific inquiry as you might already have UCI for him.

What were the refusal reasons?
Did your uncle's application go through Background Checks?
