Hi,

I received the GCMS note today and I have few questions here.
Based on the information in GCMS, I passed all except Security (Not started). My criminality passed on April 25th. 2018.

1. The note states "File sent to Ready for PS-" on April 25th 2018.
What are officers do in PS-?

2. Does security check includes in PS- step or is it separate procedure?

3. When can I expect PPR at this point...?

mine is from feb from two days before when BG started (feb 27). And called them in may continuesly four weeks. First week second and third week kept telling me security is going on 4th week they said not started. Make me so confused so order new gcms gonna recieve by 29 th june. Lets see. Dec 14th 2016 applicant.

they didn't said the wait time but how about you? how long it took for them to decide your medical extension.

it took them 2 weeks to extend my medicals after the officer sent the request for extension, according to my GCMS notes.

security screening is an extensive security check, they are not the same.

Due date is sep 8th 2018. Do you have any idea about this? My 18 months will be complete tomorrow. Do you think they will take time utill September??

the agent explained to me that it's a due date to look at the file if nothing happens before that date. so I'm hoping it might mean something at last.

If your 18 months is over tomorrow and you are inland, I would recommend reaching out to your local MP's office and ask to inquire what's happening with your application.

Yeah thats what i was thinking coz according to my gcms which I ordered in feb recieved in march 15 i have already passed eligibility criminalty in sep 2017. Medical passed January 20. Ready for PS. but I ordered one more set pf gcms which im gonna received on 29th june. Will see. Thn i will go to mp. Bcoz last week they changed processing time from 18 to 19 months so.

Dec 29 2016 here. Medical expired in feb still saying "you do not need a medical" in mycic.
