Adding spouse to existing PNP PR Application

Hi Guys,

Here is my timeline
January 13th 2017 - application received
Feb 28th 2017- AOR received
June 1st, 2017 got Married and added spouse
September 2nd, 2017 received questionnaire about marriage approve and picture request
December 31 2017 - Medical request received
January 16th - Medical passed.
Feb 28, 2018- account update
I have not heard anything since, I wonder for how long should I wait?. Should I apply for express entry? I have applied for work permit for my wife but got rejected.

Got my PPR request on Friday. 24 months in total. Sent documents for my wife in September 2017, wife's name got added in January 2018.

Its a difficult question, no one exactly knows how long one should wait. Also, it looks like your medical date was only for you and not for your spouse ( I am just guessing) if thats the case may be first they will go through with your spouse medical request.

I m in same situation . I sent all documents through web form but didn’t receive any update . How much they take to update ???

Approximately 2-3 months, to add your spouse to your file (with UCI number).

Medical : 1 march 2018
Send spouse document on 15 april 2018

I am giving IELTS again for Express entry because i dont know how long they will take for this paper application

they told me that my file moved to irrc edmonton why they transfer my file to edmonton

my timeline is

send update get married in oct
request of schedule a family backround in nov 2017
submitted request doc in dec 2017
only me got medical req 8 jan 2018
wife added in jan 2018
wife got work permit in march 2018
send upfront medical of wife in april 2018
on ecas file status changed application recevied on 17 april 2018 and back on in process 9 may 2018
today agent told me file transfer in mid of may and he told me it takes 6 month to process

anybody idea why they transfer file to edmonton how much time they take

file transferred to local office on May 12, 2018.

the call center agent told me the processing time at the local office could be 6 months!!!
