Hi we have similar profile except that I am an indian and I have applied alone. First one was rejected based on the immigration status and travel history. (UAE)

Applied again on 28th May. This time with documents showing ties to home country and Resident country. I failed to show such proofs in my first application. So far it shows reviewing eligibility.

Yes, We both applied around the same time and got rejected as well.

I applied alone first time and I just submitted the basic documents just like any visit visa. Now when i look back I didnt even provide a proof that i am married.

This time around I have shown proof of land in India, savings, etc

For ties to UAE i have shown dependent family, lease, vehicle, employment contract, credit card etc

And just fingers crossed.

Sure, mine is showing reveiwing eligibility. No biometrics required for me.

Sorry to hear your first refusal and sacrificing plans with family for his Visa. I completely understand the shock it gives. Especially with the fact that you are having valid US visa. I do not have US visa but I am a frequent traveller. I have been to around 20 countries.

Lets hope we both are successful this time around.

No reviewing eligibility yet. Last time we had an update of reviewing eligibility on the 4th day after applying. This time it’s been 16 days and absolutely nothing other than one ghost update email.
