I am going to apply for PR without police certificates. I will submit them upon request from CIC because they're not ready yet. My work permit has 5 months left in it, therefore, i need file number before my work permit expires. Can we get a file number without police certificates?

still not activated. god ! i sent my passport on June 4th, delivered on 6th june.. and i am waiting too.. i am checking the tracking since then. lol ! i think i should just stop doing it for a while !

yes, you can send application without police certificate and you dont need to wait for them to request you the document, once you receive your application number and you link it to your online account. you can send them when they are ready. waiting for them to request document will delay your application as they application is then placed in document request queue

I am Dec 23 2016 applicant, and still waiting for PPR. After I finished my ME, I got requested to submit my cv and materials about my master degree like details of publications, supervisor name, field of study....

Is anyone else receiving this request as well? Did you get your PPR or not yet?

I received the request on March 14. I heard it will delay for at lease half of year, or even 1 or 2 years.

I am wondering what we can do to speed it up..? I saw someone has the same situation (being asked for cv, master/phd study) and he applied for EE instead of waiting for PNP, and he got his PR card very soon via EE..
