My friend is working in closed work permit, his PR application is in-progress were he has completed his medicals, now his closed work permit is going to over. Any of you please let us know, whether he has a chance to apply for open work permit when his employer didnt layoff him.

Plz share your advice.

im Nov 18 too! wonder if mine fot transferred. may i ask how u got the info?? coz ircc hasnt told me anything about additional checks but still no answers

I did call cic a few times. They told me "Updated" means my background check was done and waiting for final review
