I read it takes 4-5 weeks but can take longer.

Did you attach proof that you paid the fees to your college in your application?
Yes I have attached the receipt received from college. My brother lives in canada he paid my first semester fee. I also attached the demand draft he submitted in bank and receipt of bank also.

Your brother being in Canada is also a negative. It shows ties to Canada. You should have paid your fees from Pakistan to some distance from your brother.

Hi guys. So I applied for my study permit on 13th March for MBA at Rotman, UofT and got medical request on 23rd March.
I wanted to ask if I couldn’t get the medical test done for the visa within the 30-day timeframe, will my application be refused? I couldn’t open the embassy letter attached due to a technical error which I even reported to the embassy. After a long wait, they sent me another letter on 13th May (dated 23rd March only), I got medical done on 15th May and passed on 17th May. It has been 12 weeks since I applied for the visa in March, mainly the delay because of the medical issue. I know my problem might be confusing to y’all but if anyone of you all could shed light on this, it will be very helpful. Thanks!

Probably the best course of action would be raise a case specific enquiry.
I have already done that and made them aware of this issue after which they sent me the medical letter. They sent the same old one dated 23rd March which I couldn’t open earlier. I don’t know how strict they might be regarding the 30-day medical timeline tho, considering the fact they took a month to resend me another letter to proceed with my medical so they wasted time too. They respond to Case specific enquiries after a month to say the least. So here I am just waiting.

Well i know a guy who was asked to upload an updated letter of acceptance within 30 days but he took like 1.5-2 months and still got approved within two weeks after that. Since you have already raised the CSE, there is no need to worry. It takes a lot of time in the background check . My application took 3 months after medical so just wait. Since they have already passed the medical exam, i guess there is no need to worry otherwise they would have rejected it by now.

It has been more than 3 months to the application and more than 3 weeks to the medical. My session starts in mid August so do you think they would stall approving/sending the passport earlier so that the person can’t travel way before University starts?
