Hi, dont worry I was also called for interview I guess this is a part of their process now. I appeared for interview yesterday and here are my two cents. Firstly it takes about 1.5 hours to reach there from islamabad, due to shuttle service etc so plan accordingly. Embassy people do not allow parents inside so go alone and dress casualy. For our interview they asked same questions from all the candidates. Just read your sop and be calm.

Would you please share what question they asked you in interview?

Would an education load be more suitable in this case as he does not have a relative sponsoring him and is young so holding large amount of liquidity would also be questionable - whereas a loan is a standard way to study in the west. However, the question then becomes "why take so much money as a loan when you can just study here for the same course?"

The thing is, his financial situation would not seem good to the VO since his father was the primary source of income. The question is, who will give the educational loan to him? The banks certainly do not give here in Pakistan and if he says that his relative is giving him one then he would have to show the entire amount in order for it work as a loan. A loan is not a loan unless they give you all at once. It would be more like a sponsorship. And no one has 4 years worth of tuition fee plus living expenses in cash so i guess his best bet is to make his relative his sponsor but his case wont be as strong as we want it to be. Also i agree that they would think that why is he spending this much since the pay in Pakistan is less and he wont be able to give back the loan unless he stays in Canada.

I received medical request 4 weeks after interview. I submitted upfront medical in March 2018 with my first rejected application and again attached photocopy of medical sheet with my second application. Do not know why I received medical request again when i already passed my medical upfront. Should I send case specific request informing the fact or go for a medical again. Please advise what to do?

This happens to a lot of people. Contact the IMO where you appeared for medical though i am sure their response will be that we have already sent the report and we can not send it again as there isn't any place on their portal to submit two reports. Also raise a case specific inquiry asap. In some cases, they do acknowledge the error and your status will be changed to passed however in other cases you would have to go through the medical once again and you would have to pay for the medical again which is frustrating but that is the only thing we can do now.

Thanks dear for your prompt response. I have contacted IOM Lahore and they said you do not need medical exam again. So I have generated Case Specific inquiry and attached IOM upfront medical sheet. fingers crossed!!! May Allah bless us all who are waiting for their visas

Not being a bonafide student is a pretty vague rejection reason. You would have to apply for GCMS notes from www.caipsgcms.com to know the reasons in detail. You also need to provide us with your marks/percentage of all the educational qualifications that you have (matric/fsc/bscs). Furthermore, is this a diploma from Humber college? I am not sure what it is. It has to be a Master since you have already done BSCS. A diploma would not be a sensible progression of education in the eyes of the visa officer so this could be one the reasons. Kindly provide all the information that i have asked above.

Yes but you should improve IELTS anyway as it would help you gain admission in a university and would strengthen your case as you can point to it and say you improved in your English ability.
