I was so anxious about my application which in hind sight I shouldn't have been. It appears that those who applied before me from Brampton area are in the same boat as me and many ain't getting any test invite either. I bombarded cic with calls and I talked to a disgruntled lady who filed complaint against me,that am calling too much. I never did realize it till I called again, the agent I talked to was asking me why am i calling too much? He explained to me that everything in my file has been completed, if not that someone complained about my calling too much,it will further delay my application till I get a call from cic and cleared things up. My question is what negative impact does it have on my file? Still in Ip since Feb 28th 2018,applied Dec 17th.

Not sure what they mean by clearing things up but it shouldn't have a negative impact. Being annoying doesn't disqualify you. However, I guess because you annoyed them so much, they might prolong your process just out of spite or maybe not.

the timeline is 12 months if everything goes fine, Citizenship and immigration call centre and officers cannot rush as everyone will like.

Just take deep breath, enjoy your life and chill. You are within timeframe.

what can happen is they can delay your application so you can get anxious again and call back so you can become abusive and report you to citizenship officer to request RQ for further delay out of spite, and RQ will take average 3 yrs until you take them to court.

so don't be spoiled cute which means BACK OFF because anyway call Centre have no idea after app reaches your local office or becomes IP.

Try to call them and ask what negative effects it will have on your application
LOL I hope you're joking here. Call them again to ask the negative impact of calling again.

I didn't even know this could happen. I don't think call centre agents have any say on your application, but for the sake of saving time for yourself and others, as well as on the off chance call centre agent has a coworker friend who happens to be a citizenship officer, please stop calling them just to be safe.

Stop calling them for at least 3 months. If by then nothing happened, give them a call and explain the situation politely and ask if the incident that happened with call center agent is delaying your application.

But most importantly don't call again any time soon

I have a question, when you say bombarded them with calls, how many times did you call ? every day ? multiple times a day ?

A friend of mine had the same experience as OP last week. He mentioned that he would call the call centre twice a week and was told that he has been calling too much and the processing time is 12 months so he should wait. I wonder if there are some new instructions given to the call centre agents to tell the applicants who have been calling again and again.

Yes, that's most likely the case.

Define "bombarded". Just how often did you call?

This would be horribly unprofessional to do so and I would hope that IRCC staff is professional enough to never even consider such a thing.

I do know that call centre agents record the timestamp of every interaction they have with someone calling about a particular application. I know that this has been done for a long time. But to tell the caller that they call too much is new. They must be getting overwhelmed with constant calls and are overburdened

I have also had the same experience with call centre, I called multiple times like 6 times once a week when others in my close timeline were getting test invite but nothing for me. The reason I called check if there is a test invite for me or not while our HR (at work) is pushing me to take my vacations (I have a lot of days off) and I have to plan for it, and I don't like to miss test while I am on a vacation. So, the guy on the phone (call centre) was not supporting at all asked me: Why you are calling too much?? I told the reason and I asked: why are you complaining about my call follow up? I this a problem or an issue? He replied: no! it is your call!

I decided to not call anymore and deal with HR is better option to argue with unknown IRCC staff, I believe they are able to put some CRAPs on our files!
Hopefully, this is not happening on mine and others citizenship application files.

Had the process been consistent and processing didnt drag on for many months in some centres, they wouldn't face worried clients. Each applicant has their own personality and who's to say the applicant doesnt suffer from OCD. They cant expect everyone to have the same state of mind that they desire.
