What is your score under the six selection factors?
Hello, I did my Masters in Mechanical in canada. So to apply for EE, do I need experience of 1 year in my job profile or something in managerial class can do? For example, Can a experience of Motel Manager of 1 year be counted for Express Entry or I need experience in mechanical field only ?

Pre-Assessed..
As I calculate I get 67/100 in FSW. I can't figure it out how CIC assesses eligibility? Come to Canada tool also marks questionnaire eligible.
1 - Which NOC did you choose as your Primary NOC? Remember that on the six selection factors you can only count work experience under your Primary NOC. If you have less than 6 years on such NOC then you'd be ineligible.
2 - Do you meet the required funds?
3 - Common mistakes: stating hrs per day instead of hrs worked per week/ choosing "degree in good standing" instead of "degree awarded"

As long as that experience is skill type NOC 0, A or B it'll be fine.

2007-07 to 2014-04 is 82 months and my weekly hours of duty is 48. It may not be a few months short

Anything before June 2008 is not valid work experience anymore (as it is not within the past 10 years). You have 5 years of work experience under such NOC and thus your score is 65 under the six selection factors making your profile ineligible.

It is only one or two months short 2008-06 to 2014-04. Why fraction is not considered based on 48 hours of weekly work?

Anything at or above 30 hrs per week is considered full-time work. Whether you're working 30 hrs per week or 48 hrs per week is all the same.

This means they consider only 30. Right?
It means 30 hrs per week is one week of full-time work and so is working 48 hrs a week.

Just because you were working 48 hrs per week does not mean you're able to reach X years of work experience faster than someone who's working 30 hrs per week.

I have another question.

Can I earn some points if I do own business? I have been doing my own business since August 2017.
