I received a letter stating our application would remain at CPC Mississauga for processing.

Has anyone had to chase up where their PR card is? We had to send new photos but still not heard anything and card not received yet, just wondering if anyone had contact details? Thanks

Yes they do. Straight forward applications from certain countries can potentially get processed from start to finish at CPC Mississauga.

So far only 3 that I can count that have been reported here. Not very many in my books.

Wishing the best for all of us though. I'm really hoping that things speed up.

Long time lurker here, but thought I would let everyone know that our application was received on Jan18th and I just received the PPR email a few minutes ago. That puts us at 134 days to PPR (and I expect just a couple more weeks until we have the COPR in hand).

My wife's application has shown to be "in process" on ecas for over a month but we only got the Mississauga VO transfer letter this week. Anyway, we're considering the letter to be a good sign.

Just got an email from CIC! Says out app will stay at CPC Mississauga!

We only sent Schedule A through on May 28th. Then Legal Option Letter from Lawyer + Court Docs + Explanations on hubby's minor charge and dismissed charge on Monday as well through WebForm!

May 29th in the morning we got a reply from an agent that confirmed the docs we sent through the WebForm have been received and they will forward it to the correct office.

As well on May 29th on GcKey status went from: "We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details." to "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided."

We were sure his crimes were gonna be a small problem and he was gonna be sent to LA.

Does getting a transfer email, saying its staying in Mississauga a good thing?

Congratulations!

Most US applicants are processed in Mississauga. Usually it's a quick office though the background check related to his records may take a bit longer in your case.

Definitely a good thing, but in your case to be expected because he is American. However, I must add that Mississauga can still transfer your file to a Visa Office in the States if needed.
