    PPR request

It's entirely by email to the principal applicant. The actual letter is a PDF attachment. ECAS changes to decision made while gckey stays the same, still saying "we are processing...".

    PPR request

It comes in an email. GC Key shows nothing, but the ecas system shows "Decision Made" for the principal applicant either right before or right after that email.

**MISSISSAUGA PROCESSING** - Outland Spousal Applicants

Understandable. And it's not nothing that you've been the most consistently helpful and accurate responder on this site. Hoping for good news for you soon.

****FEBUARY 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

No, they inserted a new #2 entry of "We started processing your application on June 20", just below the old #1 "We received your application on..". Then #3 about the PCC correspondence from April, and #4 about the medical results.

Thanks for the kind words! Although "every case is unique" etc etc your timeline is super-close to ours. Hope your popcorn will pop within hours/days.

****FEBUARY 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

South Korean citizen. We live in the Middle East. We married almost 20 years ago in Canada, left Canada in 2001 before her then-inland application had been completed (they refunded our application money, which was nice of them) & now have two Canadian daughters born in assorted countries we've...

****FEBUARY 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Me too! We were quite prepared to wait for this to take at least a year. Even if it's another couple of months before all's done and dusted, we're happy. Hoping for good news for others on the boards this month. :) Clearly, they're working away at the piles in those offices.

****FEBUARY 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

My wife's status has just changed to DM in ecas today. We're another outland Feb 6th application handled through Mississauga instead of an overseas VO. :) PPR hasn't made it to her email yet but we suspect it's imminent. Nothing's changed on the CIC page yet - "Your application is in progress...

**MISSISSAUGA PROCESSING** - Outland Spousal Applicants

Reading through this thread, I'm not sure there is a timeline. Some people wait more than a year with their applications in Mississauga, though that seems to be the exception and every case is unique. From my reading, 1-3 months looks to be more typical, which would put the whole process as...

**MISSISSAUGA PROCESSING** - Outland Spousal Applicants

Hi everyone- Looking for a bit of advice. I'm sponsoring my wife for PR with an outland application. I'm a Canadian citizen, as are our two daughters. We've been living outside Canada for 17 years but are planning to move to Canada this summer. My wife comes from a "no visa needed" country, so...

    Need help understanding with ECAS

I agree with Forte. We applied by mail from the other side of the world in February and the time to get into their system was a few weeks, not months. You may want to have a serious conversation with your lawyer.

**MISSISSAUGA PROCESSING** - Outland Spousal Applicants

My wife's application has shown to be "in process" on ecas for over a month but we only got the Mississauga VO transfer letter this week. Anyway, we're considering the letter to be a good sign.
