I totally agreed with you.Who told you cic never contact employer? I am employer bound and they called my boss twice. They will want to know if you are still working and your behaviour and attitude, they also asked for go ahead incase the employer changes their mind
Is that a call from AINP instead? Because CIC is not responsible for employer issues.I totally agreed with you.
I'm a AINP PNP PR Paper based applicant
Under employer driven stream.
So before they grant your PR
Cic must check first if your still working with the employer who nominates you. That's why they call the employer.
March 25
My employer received a call from cic
Asking confirmation if I'm still working with him. My employer ask if the call is regarding my PR application? The officer said YES.
MEdical done april 2
Medical passed April 6
Pre arrival services Last wk of April
They called my employer before I got file number that was July 2017, they also called him December 2017. Feb 9 2017 I got pre arrival and March 19 medical request. I still think they will call once againI totally agreed with you.

I've heard that that they only call they employer if you work for a smaller firm and not a big businesses. Just because of they trust the bigger companies more. If you don't mind me asking, how big is your company? They called my employer before I got file number that was July 2017, they also called him December 2017.
