Hello,

I'm a PR applicant ( Common-law sponsorship ). I was asked to undergo the Medical Exam, which I've done.

I went to a Panel Physician and took the exam, I know that they will send the results to CIC, but is there something I'm supposed to do afterwards ? am I suppose to submit something to my application ?

Thank you.

No nothing. Just sit back and check mycic 4 times a day lol until it says medical passed. It took nearly 3 weeks after my wife took her medical before it was updated to Medical Passed, can be much quicker though, depends how quick the clinic get all the results in, they had to wait over 2 weeks for the x ray result.

Incorrect. 10 times a day. If you're not checking it 10 times a day you're doing it wrong :p

Ahh yes me bad! We try to only check early morning over breakfast and later in the evening to see if anything has changed, nearly always futile of course! Though I would expect both yours and my wifes app to be heading to completion over the next 2-3 months, hopefully!

I know... I'm trying to break the habit of checking them both too many times a day.. It's gets to be too much.

Oh I hope you are right and we get to virtual cheers each other soon! Just willing this to be over. While I am so happy to see others be done with this process it drives me up the wall seeing people who applied in December/January landing! The process is so ununified.

I know I`m reading that April and May inland apps are getting landing interviews and June and July 2017 inland apps are getting finalised DM etc which is good as were August so hopefully not too much longer, whilst at the same time people who applied earlier in the year are still waiting to hear news which seems unfair (even worse some from 2016 still waiting). Time seems to go much slower when you`re waiting for something, i guess we will look back with relief soon.
