Hi, what was the issue with the pictures? Getting pictures done in the US is really difficult. I just sent mine off and I'm hoping they will be okay.We received PPR on May 1st from the London Visa Office as my partner is Irish moving back to Canada with me. Our file was kept in Mississauga. Because Ireland is a Visa exempt country with Canada we only had to send a copy of his passport. We had a hiccup with the pictures required and sent the wrong ones. So after resubmission of the requested pictures we got final approval yesterday the 17th of May.

But we have submitted them now, but we haven't been notified that "Background Check is in process" yet. Since hearing from them they have been very prompt with email replies, so that is good news! I havent heard anything for almost 3 months now from the IRCC or from MANILA VISA OFFICE where they emailed my husband offering me jobs from one of the big canadian employers since my permenent residence is on process. I have read threads here that they get their visas in 6 months or less. It really amazed me that they havent waited that long to finally get their visa. We have high hopes that our application will soon be ok and our visa is imminent.
Yes we keep on praying with my husband. Its so difficult to be away with the person we love.same here, 3 months waiting . Just pray we wil be together with our loved ones soon..
Hi we have the same timeline. May i know the status of your application? In our case with my husband, its almost 3 months since we last heard from IRCC. The last notification was when the immigration have already received our medical result and we passed last second week of march 2018.Hello everyone. I'm just wondering where I'm at in the application process. Everything I've found doesn't seem to match up with the order I'm getting things (I know it can vary from person to person). My husband is a Canadian citizen sponsoring me, our application was received November 30th 2017. I submitted my medicals a week after requested (February 14 medical exam was taken). My husband did not receive a sponsor approval but did receive a letter stating my case will be processed in Mississauga. On his ecas, it says "decision made" under the sponsorship column.
Here's what my online account and ecas look like as of today:
Thank you guys for all of your informational posts, it's really helped us a lot in filing our paperwork!

Congratulations! Your application is going so fast. May i know what country are you from?I actually received my PPR on April 27th and now I have received my Confirmation of Permanent Residency.
I’m from the U.S. From what I’ve seen on this forum, current trends are 4-5 months from the time it’s received to decision made. Between when my account showed that I had passed my medicals and decision made, there wasn’t much changes and no emails as far as I can remember. The only time it’s changed is when my background check went in progress on gckey. Has that updated for you?Congratulations! Your application is going so fast. May i know what country are you from?
No update yet as of this time. We are nov 30, 2017 applicant and its been 6 months already since the time they received our application. During the first few months, our application ran so fast. Last jan 24 we received our file number, jan 25, Sponsor approval. Feb 17, medical exams done. Feb 28, cic made an update that we passed the medicals. March 7, they informed us that our application has been forwarded to Manila Visa office for further processing. After that, its been 3 months now since the last time they gave an update. There were no additional documents requested like Schedule A and PCC since we already submitted it together with the other documents last year in November. I just made a conclusion in my mind based on the forums i have read that american and european countries are processing faster than in our country.I’m from the U.S. From what I’ve seen on this forum, current trends are 4-5 months from the time it’s received to decision made.
