I didn't get GCMS notes for two months.

oh, those are your GCMS notes then I'm not sure. I just called IRCC and the agent told me that my file is in Winnipeg yikes! I asked him why is it there? he told me that he can see that the officer opened it in this month and it's still in the security check process. this is just insane how long it takes. Does anybody know why file has ended up in Winnipeg?

How do you know if you'r security has already been stared?
For me it's been 2 months i passed my medical. Whenever i call agent tell me my security has not started yet.
Everything else is passed. Not sure why they are not starting my security check it.

Bro even just before u get ur PPR email, agent will say security not started yet.
If Ur visa officer need to do a final review and if it can take more than a week then u will see a status of Security check completed before the PPR email.

So IRCC doesn't do security check but CBSA and CSIS so the status will show security not started till IRCC receive back our files from security agencies and then just in few days they will tell us that security check completed or send us PPR email

I even read somewhere in this forum, one person called CIC and they told him security has not started, but next day he got his PPR.
I have not got any update from last 2 months. Hope for the best.
