are you trying to show off with a score of 484 ?:p
sharing is caring and you should give away some of your points to people in the group :D

Inshort Yes, you should be invited(final decision is of course subject to CIC), invitation is the easiest part, plz ensure you start gathering all the documents for which you are claiming the points for from now on, as some of them will require time to apply and gather... plz check my post here...https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/ray-of-hope-91st-draw.561559/page-4
No. Not trying to show off. I am quite short in terms of my time that I can keep working in the US. Hence the question. Sorry if I came across as obnoxious but what I meant to ask is if I will be considered for the 6th June draw.
Yes I have all my other documents ready to be uploaded right after I get my ITA. (Except for my ECA obviously)

Thank you guys for the answers :) best of luck to all of you.

Naa you did not, I was just joking, and keeping things on a lighter note...
Since you are in US, did you sort out the FBI PCC and the one from your home country?

Yes I did. Got both of them within a weeks time. FBI started an online application for this which really speeds up things. Also it helps that I live in Washington DC as I could go to the Indian embassy myself.

Hey everyone,

I had a question about one of the companies I worked in.

It was a new VW dealership in Saudi Arabia that was owned by a big construction company. Unfortunately, the VW dealership was closed in 2017 but I left the company in December 2015. Should I mention that the company was closed down in an explanation letter? The parent company is still active.

I have the company reference letter with my salary and the latest salary slip to prove that I did work there.

Also, I am in the USA right now and I plan to submit my application from here. However, I might move to my home country in August. How will I inform CIC of my address change and will that affect my visa processing timeline?

Thanks

Well I haven't seen any NOIs issued for the HCP stream recently. I guess, the last one was issued in March. Since then they are issuing only to french speaking and skilled trade streams..
You are right. Last NOIs under HCP were on March 26. Although, those NOIs issued were limited expresselly for French Speaking and Job Offer. So, last time they actually issued NOIs for everyone under HCP stream was february 26 :( .

how does the tie breaker works can u plz explain me i am on 440 profil created at 437 in feb and score updated to 440 in april.
thanks
Hi, since the Tie-breaking rule says "December 30, 2017 at 06:39:40 UTC", you won´t receive ITA this time... I am sorry.
But don´t worry, you have really big chances about recieving your ITA next draw (91th)!!

About this rule, it applies for candidates with the lowest CRS of the draw. For 90th draw, it means that everyone who have 440 received ITA only if they created the profile before december 30, 2017 at 06:39:40 UTC. You submitted your profile on february, after that date.

Hi there,
For French stream you need clb7 for all 4 sections of TEF test and also you need clb6 in English.
Only French test can give you a chance if Ontario sends you an NOI but that's in category HCP.
Good luck!
Thank you... well, we will have to wait then. Because I only have TEF right now :( and they haven´t issued again under HCP.

Since they are continuously issuing NOIs under FSSW, we (my husband and I) were thinking about the chances of getting a NOI some day near, with my profile.

On the other hand, I hope to achieve the mininum CLB 6 in English required for FSSW  I know that it may be easy for most of you who are in the CLB 9 level but for me, not so much LOL I am afraid of writing and speaking. If someone could share link or tips for studying in short time (exam is on jun 30)... I will be very grateful. ;) In the meantime, writing posts in this forum is somehow helping me to practice a little hahaha

So I was studying the Year-end report of 2016 for the express entry. From there I found out the following things.

1. The admission target is for the total admission means applicant and their accompanying dependents.

2. The applicant who are already residing in Canada are not part of the admission target. I say this because in the report there are figures stating the total admission that happened during 2016 and that doesn't include people already living in Canada.

3. All the PNP nominated profile are not included in the express entry admission target, PNP has different target as we know and all the pnp nomination that get ITA will not take out space from the 74000 target of this year.

4. Admission target is for a year. So it is the target for this year 2018, which means people who got ITA in the later half of 2017 after getting PPR this year they will be counted as admission in 2018. So people who get ITA in later half of this year will take out space from 2019 target which is again more than this year.

Many of you probably knew all these but if anyone think any different than what I understood please share your opinion.

I am not quite sure, but I did read somewhere in the forum that to get FSSW you must be the primary applicant; the candidate with TEF must be the primary in the EE profile.

Regarding IELTS, since you are secondary applicant, I think you don't have to score so high. I am also going to sit for 30th June. In fact, we have a group on whatsapp - very active one. I can send you invite link via message if you want.

I think your understanding is correct. Point 4 was crucial last year, shortage in PR target for 2018 caused low ITA's at the year end and so much stress. This is why they have pool for 3 years in a row now, so we wont see the slow down at year end.

Hi Guys, i guess i am reading and following ROH threads since a year now and this is my 2nd post.. i like the positivity of each an everybody here... I am trying my luck in IELTS and giving it almost every month.. my todays result is again a big failure ! L-8, R-8.5, S-7, W-6.5.
I am trying my level best to achieve CLB 9, however, one or the other disappoints me everytime...i hope i can get through in the next !
Currently sitting at 423 in the pool. CLB 9 will boost my score to 487.
Trying my luck!
Thankyou for creating positivity here as always.

Another thing that is mentioned in the report is that, they slow down the draw when there is large no of applications to be processed. That is why they end up issuing lots of ITAS, then they slow down and let the backlog to clear and then star issuing more again. This is probably why they are now more systematic, issuing two draws every month and gradually increasing the ITAs. I sincerely hope that they dont end up slowing again in the next 2 months as that will kill my chances of ITA. I am 437 and back in February when they came down to 442 I though my time will come soon but from Feb to May now they net drop is just 2 points to 440. Another 3 week delay at this point will kill my dream This is getting scary for me and I guess for many others as well. But my logic says we should soon see 3750 or 4000 ITAs from next month probably which will boost our chance.
