We need Back to back draws like last year in order to see drasttic drop in CRS score but I think back to back draw this year is very unlikely. That being said, February-March had draws with 3000 ITAs, April-May now had 3500 ITAs. So I think starting from June no of ITAs will increase to 4000. I hope I am right with this.

Anyway, I am super disappointed though with todays draw, as there was no IELTS result in between I was hoping for a bigger drop. What happened today doesn't make much sense to me, it seems there were around 2800new profile above 440 in the last two weeks and how that many new profile got added without a fresh IELTS result I am not sure. Yes There were CELIP result maybe or some other factor which I am maybe missing. Hope someone will enlighten me.

Got for it. I didn't know about the option of re-scoring. I also missed the desired score by 0.5 in writing. Considering the trend, I don't think you will receive the ITA before July.
That's what I was thinking too, given I just have two more weeks before the ability to re-score expires. Wonder if anyone else here has seen any improvement in score after re-evaluating their writing. Anyone else feel free to chime in

Hey don't be disappointed. I am only seeing positive things this time (for a change :p). First of all, it is the lowest cut-off score of the year. Second of all, the overall number of new applicants entering the EE pool dropped from 600 to 400 approx . Third, the tie-break is 30th December, so all the 2017 applicants with 440 points have been flushed out :p. Fourth, the draw was on time, I was dreading there would be no draw today. But IRCC has become a little predictable and regular with the draws now. Which is a relief. Last but not the least, they have issued 31500 ITAs so far this year, at least 50k are still remaining, the draw size will at least increase to 3750 pretty soon. So, keep your ROH alive buddy. We might see the cut-off dropping to 439 by the end of June.

I was thinking about the CELPIP exam results too.. there is an express checking option that only takes 8 days or something to get the results! That could be one reason

I don't know. How much will that cost you by the way?

Bachelors can get married to an English/French proficient person with a master degree :p

You can expect only a maximum of an increase of 0.5 in your writing score upon re-evaluation. If that doesn't help your case, consider writing the exam again instead!

Hope that it reaches 439 sooner than later. Have been in the pool for more than a year now.. but unfortunately updated the points last month only! Desperately need to get ita next month itself

He only needs 0.5. Re-evaluation might do the trick for him.

I hope so too. Have already done medical and our PCCs will become invalid in 6 months. I must get the ITA by July, or it's gonna cost me a lot.
