So I submitted my passport to VAC after I recieved my PPR, got an email today in GCKEY asking for additional document and they want me to upload my passport image with all the visas and front page showing. Is this normal?

To all the people who went thru a divorce, I want to ask a question. The below is taken from CIC. I am sure everyone is aware of this. Did you guys only provide your divorce certificate or did you guys have to provide a "certificate of talaq" as well as listed below? Any issues or problems if you only submit your NADRA divorce certificate alone?

• Divorce certificates issued in Pakistan must be issued by the relevant union council or government authority. The NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority) issued divorce certificate should be included but is not sufficient evidence on its own. You must include the Certificate of Talaq issued by the relevant Union council. In the case of Khula, you should also include the decree of Khula issued by the Family Court.

I submitted only divorce cert.. it was khula case

Nothing started on file and file status is PUT AWAY .. Group # is 1-FQJMM1T
Even Visa officer is not assigned to file.

I have a question! While filling the consent form. Did you put handwritten signatures?
And what to write in the 'related individual information' in section 2 on the consent form

related individual info is for if you have children being sponsored with the applicant also

@salmanmahmood wanted to make sure you saw everyone elses posts, they have advised you will need PCC from each city you lived in for more than 6 months

Is that so?......I only submitted one for my wife - as my lawyer said if they need more they will ask for more. They just need the recent one first. I think my lawyer even called CIC to confirm this.

So true lol...I can see why some people get so frustrated....everyone says something different all the time... I am sure if we call CIC multiple times we will get different answers every time too! LOL

if i were to follow what they ask for, then i would just get one for the country since they mention pcc for country/state, not city.

If a person got divorced in canada. His ex wife was Canadian. Both have never been to Pakistan. And now hes married to a Pakistani girl. Does he need a divorce c

I checked mine and Date of notice of divorce is different than the conciliation. And Date of conciliation is same as effective date of divorce.

Date of Notice for Divorce: MAR 4th, 2017
Date of Failure of Conciliation: May 4th, 2017
Date of Effectiveness of Divorce: May 4th 1st, 2017 (60 days after)

Underneath it says Entry date: Feb 04 2017.

I am now confused. You got me questioning mine too but logically mine makes sense.

hmnnnn..how come your divorces effected in just 60 days .Mar 4th to May 4th = 6- days?
according to UC, they wait 90 days (3 menstural periods) before they announce a divorce and issue a divorce certificate.
Check with Others please i may be wrong.but thats what i heard since so many months !

I called my UC person and he said there is no CERTIFICATE OF TALAAQ...ISSUED BY UC
only Divorce Certificate but if u see a UC DC, its says "Andaraaj Talaaq Certificate"
