My documents were all notarized, his birth certificate, Nikkah papers, passport etc literally all of his papers were notarized. I sent western union receipts from years ago as well (2012), insurance benefits, emails chats whatever I could possibly do. The other woman told me she had adequate amount of proof as well. It's honestly just a matter of ending up with a jerk. May God put them in such situations maybe they will realize how difficult it is, people's lives aren't a joke. Also, congrats on the birth of your baby, God bless you!

I actually personally msged the woman who was rejected. She told me she got PFL where they doubted she was residing in Canada as she was a PR not citizen and went on a travel document, her pr card was expiring or expired. Other than that ruksati photos were requested which wasn't a big concern. She said she cleared all of that by explaining her intention of having a function in Canada. All was good until the interview where they asked her husband several questions related to their relationship which was love. The dates she had written on the forms differed from his response as he became confused with what they asked. Then they asked why the wedding cards weren't in Urdu, very dumb question btw. But ya basically the observation of the officer was what rejected her case. Pathetic and I would say bad luck as well as a horrible/evil interviewer, hope he suffers for causing stress on the poor woman. She mentioned another woman who was rejected because her husband brought an interpreter to the interview while the sponsor was born and raised in Canada, they asked how do you guys communicate if she was brought up and born in Canada then ...lets all pray we get good officers who are lenient and kind.

i m still confused how VO can easily reject an Spousal application like they think marriage is not genuine if husband can't remember the dates OR a husband can't understand English, what's the big deal if his wife born and raised in Canada....there are 10000s of girls and boyz born and raised in Canada and they fluently speak and understand Urdu.

Many Congrats!!!! so your brother in law is the sponsor, so can't he visit your sister time to time while her immigration was in process? why you stopped him visiting his wife from Canada to Pakistan, i m confuse here..

I was afraid he will get a letter of intent. He was coming in december but i told him to come once everything done. Bcos he is not a one month visitor. Last time he came and spent 8 months and this time he was having same intention.

Just curious, how do you know this? I have not heard such thing. Also, I applied in Feb 2018 and my file transferred to LVO in April but BGC hasn't started yet.

Most of new applicants having BGC started early . But again not all cases are same. May be your will begin soon if your case is not having red flags of serious nature.

Wow this is pathetic it's been so freaking long and I still received the same response. File awaits full review in London. I don't understand what's the deal! I give up.

it's been a month since i found out about the interview .. and still i have not heard back that when the date is .. dont these people realize that we canadians have a life here and we can't just leave everything and go to Pakistan to support our spouses on the interview date? my supervisor is already mad that i want to go away for two weeks while she is taking holidays throughout summer .. and on top of that, the first two weeks of every month are hell busy for an accountant .. who doesn't know this? they are refusing to give me a date in June .. ticket prices are expensive in july and august - peak time .. now before anyone asks me or even says that sponsor doesn't has to be with the PA on the interview date - trust me when i say this, that everyone here has suggested that I go because i hadn't visited my hubby since marriage .. so it will be very beneficial .. i am very frustrated! my hubby's medical expires in July and if they give us a date in July, then he will have to do his medical again .. wait for the passport request to come by and then God knows when he will land in Canada .. it's ridiculous!

Now I am here for just like the rest of you, to sponsor my wife. Since I have been disconnected with the forum for a while and just read some of these messages above, here is my question.

Well they usually end up asking for it and put a lot of emphasis on ruksati. Did you have a formal f'ing ruksati? Because if you did make sure you send their anal behinds photos of it otherwise they'll likely harass you for it. Oh why wasn't the Quran on the head why didn't u have onee..bla bla bla.. My apologies for the language but I am really pissed off at the moment.

hmm your frustration is understandable, if you have been waiting for stupid issues like these. I didn't have a rukhsati and I am just going to say no rukhsati. Like everyone else nikkah only and once the paperwork is done, then go back and do rukhsati.

Do you know anyone on this forum who had a divorce previously and CIC was perhaps giving them hard time for it?
