Application Confirmation

Hello,

I passed my application (family application) last April 11, 2018. I was wondering as to how long would it take for CIC to send me a confirmation acknowledgement (confirmation email) that they received my papers? Based on the tracking number from canada post, it was indicated that it was received April 15 but I checked my email everyday and so far there's nothing from CIC. Thank you and have a good day

You won’t be able to check online until 24-48 hours after they send you the notice that they received the application.

I see..thanks a lot. It's just that my friend got her AOR two weeks after she submitted her papers. But then I guess, it varies from one appplication to another. Thanks once again
