I'm from Philippines, and my husband is a Canadian citizen. CIC received our application Aug 2017. We had our pre-orientation seminar last Feb 2018 and BC just got updated few days ago saying "they are processing". May I know how long do I have to wait?

Please advise.

You have to wait until August 2018, because I am also waiting, I am July 2017 applicant . it is depend on case officer and the number of applicant . if your luck is good, u will get news before August otherwise u have to wait.

I have also same condition. Application Received- 07th of July, 2017, Medical done- November 15, 2017. Singapore visa office. already 10 months 16 days gone. I don't how long I have to wait for their decision. Any July Applicant please response if you have any decision made.

When was your file transferred to NDVO?
All July applicants have been waiting for ppr from New Delhi Visa office...they’ve been working on June till last Friday and till yesterday a couple of july applicants got Decision made on their ECAS....we can hope to get PPR soon...you can join this Whatsapp group for updates as all New Delhi applicants are in it.

I got an email saying my file is being sent to New Delhi for further processing on 4th October, 2017. Thank you for your reply. Btw I could not join the WhatsApp group since it is full.

You’re on track don’t worry...I’m also a July 7th applicant with file transfer date as 15th November...waiting for DM and ppr...I suggest you keep trying to add up because ppl are joining and you’ll find lots of information during the day in the WhatsApp group...
Also did you ever ordered for GCMS notes?

Oh yes it absolutely does...it makes you understand where your application is right now I mean at what stage of processing...it also shows the comments a visa officer is making on your application...like for example me and many july applicants from NDVO ordered those notes and for things like ELIGIBILITY SECURITY CRIMINALITY we all have had same updates...it made us understood that we all are nearing PPR...hope this helps you...

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/transparency/access-information-privacy/requests-information-act.html This is the official link of the CIC website where you can order your GCMS notes...anybody who is a Canadian citizen can do it..for instance if you’re the PA and the sponsor is in Canada,he can apply on your behalf and you need to send him a “CONSENT FORM” with your signature...email him/her a scanned copy and that person can pay an amount of $5 and apply it online...it takes 30 calendar days for You to receive them through an email...sometimes more or less depends from case to case...

July 5th applicant. Did an MP inquiry and was told the following:
Eligibility: in process
Criminality: not started
Hear back date is June 1st
So they should be updating my husband’s file by that date.
Lets hope for the best!
