Hello
My query is that is it one PCC per country or one has to get multiple PCC from all the cities where one has stayed for a period of more than 6 months .
On CIC website it says regarding country only .. but I am little confused plz guide.

If you get it done from a PSK it would cover the whole country.
Im just wondering why everyone has to go to passport office if on their website they clearly state to get it from police office. It should be accepted and valid then.. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/india.html
My own certificate from police office was sent to me today and after discussing with our agents, they said there has been a case of rejection for a similar case where the pcc was from police office, so basically to be on the safe side you should go to passport office only.
Further more, my wife is a foreigner living in India and the website suggests her to turn to police office, too, but police does not even have the authority to issue pcc for foreigners. FRRO does. And if that was not enough, out of 9 years they are only ready to cover her last 9 months (time since last arrival in India).
Worried about rejection here due to no fault of ours..
