Looks like our timeline for AIP and DM is the same - here’s hoping we get landing letter invitation for Vancouver area soon!Yay congratulations!!! Here's hoping I get Surrey too. I'd like to avoid heading into the city

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=037&top=4Another quick question, I have read here in other topics that for inland you do not have to provide an RCMP check unless requested. Can someone verify this?
At the time of the application, I had not been in Canada for more than 6 months, but at the time of police check request (about a month later) I had. The police certificate I provided was only for the origin country, assuming CIC will do their own on the Canadian side.
Yup, agreed. US citizens' case pretty fast.I've noticed that too, specially for outlanders from US citizens the process is taking about 4 months as I can tell from facebook groups
I live in Quebec city and I'm not sure if they work fast or not. My Ecas status is still: In process for Sponsor; and Application received for Sponsored. But I'm thinking in a positive way like I commented somewhere previously that I hope it works like my Work permit. People here were talking a lot about their status changing on MyCIC from In process to Start reviewing... But mine? Nothing until I got a message to inform that I got a work permit (before 4 months since I applied). So I truly hope that everything will be alright although my status hasn't changed for further updates; and that we all will receive PR card in the next few months he heI just saw your timeline on your signature I'm in quebec as well,as I have seen montreal's office is pretty quick to set up the landing interview!!
What's your status on your ecas? In process for both of you?
I feel exactly like you! My ecas is saying the sameI live in Quebec city and I'm not sure if they work fast or not. I applied in Jan 2017 (inland). According to the status, the processing started in Dec 2017 (for the applicant).I sent application on Feb/2017 and got FN on March 23/2017 applicant. Still waiting and no update too
Have you tried to call them?Any updates of applicants from February and March 2017? Can’t believe it’s mid May and still no AIP or DM.
Same here....Feb 2017....still doing background check. I got the AIP letter. But it still shows reviewing my eligibility. 15 months already.Any updates of applicants from February and March 2017? Can’t believe it’s mid May and still no AIP or DM.
