Ya I hate the fact they give the least attention to Pakistani applicants. A lot of discrimination, I notice that with air travel too. PIA luggage often comes at the very end and they make them wait the most not to mention they always have the worst areas in the airports for Pakistan. Extra inspection as well. It's like oh ok Pakistani applicants, let's just throw their applications for the end and harass them in every way possible.

Honestly anyone can be that way, Pakistani people aren't crooks most of them are perfectly decent law abiding people. Good and bad exists everywhere it's too bad the media feeds people negative crap.

true my mama is catholic born in karachi but her people are from goa
my mom came to Canada when she was 9 years old in 1965 with her parents ,brothers and sister plus her sister born Canada. my mom has her cousin in karachi and rawalpindi

I did an inland spousal sponsorship on December 15,2015 my husband is from Portugal he was on a work visa he became a permanent resident on April 28,2017 he did his landing interview at cic etobicoke. We been done since april 28,2017 but i come on here from time to time i have friends on here. But with our inland spousal sponsorship took us 17 months if you want to read my time line on my profile. But you need faith and hope

I am the sponsor and want to apply for spousal viza. My question is should I be in working status while applying for sponsorship and ask does job effect the processing time if I don’t work ?

Application was received On January 4th. It was sent to LVO sometime in April.
I am a suffering from a condition that gets worse with time and want to spend as much time as I can with my wife while still being somewhat healthy.
Would it help if I contacted the MP to inquire about my case or suggest an earlier processing request.
I honestly would not mind the regular waiting time but my health will deteriate over time and I don't want to miss these precious moments.
Any suggestions ?

Go to http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/Pakistan/ all of the instructions are on there.
You will need 2 photos, a copy of the PPR letter with Appendix A filled in, and passport.
It's pretty straightforward. VFS also lists how much money you will need to submit the documentation.
