Yes, the two (diploma + degree or degree + degree) must be declared in the education section. More importantly, one has to get them evaluated by an authority: WES, IQAS etc...

If you get a University diploma ECA, you'll get points for 2 or more degrees. It does not have to be a Post Graduate Diploma.

People get confused with the ‘or’ part on the official website explaining Two or More certificates scenario. It is as you explained.

I got mine assess. Degree and masters but I don't think I got points for both. On the crs calculator if I put both I'll get 440 but I actually got 437

You will not get points for that one-year diploma as it was obtained prior to completion of your bachelor degree. To get points for it, it would have to be obtained after your three of four-year post-secondary degree.

I got points for my 2-years post-secondary diploma. We don't calculate the points anymore, the system does it for us. We just choose from the drop-down menu, what our WES report says.

The only way to get a good reading score is to read. I hardly practiced but scored 9 on IELTS reading test, because I am a chronic reader. If your test date is approaching, try reading as much of IELTS reading material, as you can. There is plenty available online.

If next one is on May 23rd with 3500 ITAs, cut off could be 440 or 439.
If there is one on 16th and one on 23rd, then the 23rd cut off could be 437.

If you got your Masters evaluated as Masters then you don’t need to worry about Two or More category. You would get more points with Masters.

Anyways like another user said, on your EE profile, just choose from the drop down exactly what was given on your ECA report, and the system will automatically calculate for you the CRS points.

We are all learning, a nd thanks for your input.
It does not say after, but my concern is will the 1 year diploma after evaluation be categorized as one of the results listed, as most start with Postgraduate...certificate,diploma etc.Because if you look down the link for One year programmes you will find the ECA result which is University Diploma, So I dont know if WES will categorize it as Post graduate diploma or just University Diploma.If its not categorized as Post graduate then it may not be eligible for the Two or More degree category.

Please rest assured that my intention is not to give you false information. Take a look at the link https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/criteria-comprehensive-ranking-system/grid.html and read the section C - transferability factor. There might me some misunderstanding here. You will be able to claim points for two degrees in education section, but not points for two degrees in transferability section. So, your score will increase for 7 or 8 points, which certainly is not bad for you.

As PNP hype gone in the wind. predicting draw number 90(if on schedule May 23rd), remains 3500 draw.
CRS distribution on May 18th:
601-1200 - 250
451-600 - 900
441-450 - 600
total above 440 1750.
Avg 150 per day going in to above 440 with 5 days till draw date.
Before Draw date May 23rd total above 440 1750+5*150 = 2500
approximately 1000 will go to 431-440, as OINP nomination slowing down and no Ielts results before or on May 23rd.

Prediction on draw date: 440 or 439 with tie breaker in Feb 2018.

Were you active on the ROH 89th Draw thread? Most of the predictions were for a CRS cut-off between 438-441 and I don't think you can call it a "high crs associated with this draw"

I was active on roh89 & most people were expecting the cutoff to at least clear 441 but that didnt happen. There was a shock everyone got if I understood it right. So yea it was an abnormal draw based on the comments & analysis in that thread (excluding all other analysis). May be he was referring to the consensus particularly to that thread itself. Though not super abnormal but draw results were not aligned with expectations of many.

Actually 441 was a part of the most adverse scenario considering our predictions. In addition to that, we expected the tiebreaker date would be April or March for that cutoff, 441. However, the most thundered part was the tiebreaker date to remain almost the same. Yes, the last draw was a complete disaster for many of us here......
