An NOI (Notification of Interest) is what you get once you are selected by OINP from the Express Entry pool. With a CRS of 408, you're a little on the lower side, but if OINP starts issuing targeted NOIs to people with your area of expertise, you're in with a chance. Try to increase your score if you can, it's getting extremely competitive out there.Hey Chillovski,
With OINP NOI you mean by HCP nominations?(I’m sorry I’m just confused as I’m new here) and i also wanted to know how much score u need to have to be selected in HCP? As i currently hav 408, and this is the best i can do with age, experience and education wise. I read the requirement for HCP and OINP nomination is to have 400 as minimum.
A "Nomination" is what you get once you have been selected to receive the NOI, submitted a complete application to OINP, and they are happy with the paperwork you've submitted. It can normally take anywhere between 60-90 days to move from submitting an application to OINP, to Nomination. The OINP Nomination gives 600 points extra to one's EE profile, guaranteeing an ITA.
Hope this clarifies any confusion that you may have had.
