I'm working in state govt. deptt.
Does visa officer check with the company about reference letter? If yes, through contact details mentioned on reference letter and id attached or directly through company's hr deptt. ?

Do I need to inform CIC about this? If yes, what is the procedure for the same.

No, you don't have to inform the CIC.

They can validate your employment through several means- HR/walk-in/telephone etc.

Hello guys.. Has anyone obtained PCC in India through Passport site..Need some help as follows:-
(1)How much time does it take?
(2)What docs are required?
(3)Do officials visit residence?

It takes barely 2 hours to get your PCC- only if your passport is older than 1.5 years OR you changed address recently, there would be a police check.

They can do anything they wish to- its not standard.

Hi,
I have a question about translated marriage licence. Our marriage licence is in Persian and has been translated to english and a true copy certified is also attached to the translations. Do I need to attach a scan of the Persian original document too? or the scan of the translation with true copy certified stamp is enough? I am facing a lot of difficulties with the file size limitations and the quality of scanned files.

Im hoping someone could help me out;

Im helping my brother set up his Express Entry profile and he is having trouble figuring out if his job needs an LMIA.

He is in Canada on an IEC open work permit and has worked for the same company for the last 3 years.
He started as a welder (he has his Red Seal) and was promoted to a Supervisor last January. He has a written job offer for his current position but we aren't sure if he is exempt from needing an LMIA. Is anyone able to help us out? Ive read the LMIA exemption page on the CIC website but the more I read it the more i get confused.

And you said it takes 2 hrs otherwise.. Does it means 2 hrs after appointment's done.

Hi all

I need a help. Is it not possible to remove the education details of our spouse in our ee details. I do not want to claim points for his education, even though he has got his eca done. So I removed it selecting no... but it seems like overall score has not reflected the change
