When we had our test in Scarborough, there was a whiteboard and the following documents were listed on it:In the citizenship test invitation letter they have mentioned to bring some documents including one line that says:
All your original documents that support your citizenship application (as listed in the document checklist in the citizenship application form);
what does this actually includes? Please share your experiences specially in the Scarborough office.
- 2 pieces of ID (and remember PR card is not a piece of ID)
- PR card
- passports (including expired)
- Landing papers (CORP) <<< not sure for 100% if it was there, but I had one
they asked to show your ID and printed invitation letter to make sure you are a person who they invited. On the interview we weren't asked to show ANY of documents - not passports, not PR cards - nothing. Our officer had a file with our application and probably was able to compare us with the photos. But! people near us were asked to show their passports, and their officer was checking the stamps (I had maybe 15-20 stamps but nobody checked my passports)
Moreover, a clerk told us if we forgot anything "it could be fine - just explain your officer why you do not have this or that, you'll take the test anyway"
