CRS more then 500 or 600

Hi ,

appreciate if experts could help me understand how these candidates have score more then 500 or 600? are they from PNP ? approx 50% of candidate belongs to this range as per statics shared in forum for another discussion.

A provincial nomination (additional 600 points) and/or a valid job offer (additional 200 points) easily sets a qualified candidate above 500 or 600 points.

That second bracket starts at 451, though. A person can easily score above 451 without either of those things mentioned above. High English exam scores (CLB9+), a master's degree or PhD, and 2-3 years of work experience easily place the applicant in that high score range.

Thanks , that what i guess that it could be PNP. Also it trigger my curiosity to ask another question that , does it mean aprrox. 50% of all positions are allotted to people nominated by Provence. ?

We don't know exactly how it broke down. It could also be that a lot of people got job offers. But yes, essentially it does mean that maybe half of the applicants (usually people scoring above 500) had either a PNP, a job offer, or both.
