Looking at the guy's status in Canada(a PR with Indian passport), a dowry harassment case against him and his family filed in India might cause issues for him since the husband is still an Indian citizen. Not sure how the Indian consulate works here, but they could try to repatriate him to India. The OP needs to consult a good lawyer in India for this.

Just move on with your life. The guy is a jerk for sure, but you can also probably blame your parents a bit for not properly vetting him and his family before marriage. Just take it as a life experience and choose your own partner the next time around.

While it IS easier to just forget about and move on it is somewhat of a selfish approach knowing this perpetrator continues his bad deeds to others.

Canada will not extradite him for a dowry case.

Ah! That’s what I like to see, judge, jury and executioner all Rolled up in one forum post with no factual evidence.
There is no proof other than the post of a woman who is, for all intents and purposes, being vengeful for whatever reason. You’ve taken a stand that he is guilty of everything presented by the OP at face value. There’s always two sides to a story, and the OPs seems based on revenge at this point.

Those are scams.
"Cheating" here means hiding facts and lying in a relationship (spouse, bf/gf...etc).
There is no criminal law against these in a relationship.

I know that getting money out from a relationship can also be a crime but usually that needs some kind of pattern and multiple victims to proof.

I understand it is not big crime

Well, but OP said their marriage was genuine.
She can get a lawyer and try to get money back from him. But AP_01 said the husband has no money.
