I am planning to use a gift deed which I have already made. Why didn't you go for a gift deed?
I had enough funds. Just didn't manage my account properly. I realized my mistake on the very last day. On 90th day, post-ITA, precisely, lol.

Hey..i am not maintaining funds for the past 6 months but will open a FD/bond in coming week..i have heard that if you open a FD and provide source of funds then that should not be an issue..planning to get money from my father as gift..can you please let me know if i would be in trouble..fyi..440 crs..awaiting ielts trf..will create ee profile in a day or two
I think FD will do the trick. I recall reading that you need to maintain the minimum balance in your account for 3 months. But I'm not sure. I would say, maintain it for at least 6 month to be on the safe side.

Yes. Gift deed is an alternative to have funds in your account for a duration of 6 months.
So are you suggesting that even if its a gift..that amount should be there for 6 months..as i can't travel to past time..you suggesting to maintain funds from now to further 6 months i.e till nov 2018 and then apply for EE?

In my case, funds were more than enough, but I didn't arrange a proper proof of those funds in time.I actually didn't know that proof of funds was also required.
If you show gift deed..then maintaining funds for 6 months is not required is it? Sorry..I am a bit confused here
I don't know for sure. May be you do need that gift in your account for 6 months. One of my friends sold her assets and kept the money in bank account for 6 months. Another borrowed money and kept it in the account for a whole year. I wish I had known these things at least a few days before the last date of submission.

That's great. I would say, first of all, start contacting the employers/colleagues for reference letters, get the salary slips, tax returns, employment contracts sorted out, then medical, and last but not the least, get the proof of funds a week before submitting the applications. Also keep developing a good letter of explanation in case you cannot get experience letters in the format that CIC recommends. Two of my employers refused to issue experience letter in that format.
Start asap. and hey, have you been maintaining the balance required for immigration in your account for the past 4-5 months? I hope so..You don't wanna end up in the pool again like me :p
What do you mean by maintaining the balance required for immigration? Of the required 19k I have around 16k of that saved as FDR in my name. The rest I will just show in my savings account. Do we also have to show extra money for post immigration fees?

I think so. I read horror stories of PR rejection on this forum. One guy had just the required funds but his application got rejected because of some calculations that the visa officer did. So just to be on the safe side, total balance of both of you accounts should be a little more than what's required by CIC. If you need to show 19k, show them at least 21k. Exchange rate is also a big factor, that should be taken in account while doing all these calculation.

I don't think this "funds being in your account for 6 months" rule is set in stone, is it? I think they just want to be sure you haven't taken any loan to pay for your immigration. I've had enough money for a little over 2 months, having earned it thru my job. But I wasn't so far behind before.

We need to verify this. Will let you know when I find some substantial piece of info.

Need suggestion regarding PoF.
I have equity shares which I'm holding since few years now. I'm in the process of selling all of them and adding that money to my savings account which I am going to present to CIC. I am going to provide letter of explanation stating that all of the funds are proceeds of sell of shares held by me and along with that I'm planning to provide them ledger statement showing my shares holding before selling.
Will this be enough? Or anything else would be needed?
I'm sitting at 441 and expecting ITA in upcoming draw.
Thanks in advance!

Had been into this situation, I cleared my IELTS in the fifth attempt. Unlike your situation, I have always been losing .5 in any of the four modules. So once, I got enough in L, R and S - W was .5 less, then I got good in L,S,W but R was .5 less and then R,S,W was good but L was .5 less and this happened again.

Keep trying and don't give us, things will happen. May be this is your final one to get the scores.
Best of Luck!
You just summed up my situation too. The only difference is i am still stuck in this situation.:p I hope i get out soon.
