Hi if it's distance learning, someone posted in the previous forum that u have to put " by distance " or something so. U could check the site to see if there is more info. Sorry that's all I know
Thanks for replying Aarti123. I saw that but guess that is mainly for education from a different country.
In my case I have done my distance education from Jalandhar and was doing full time job in Pune. I am confused whether to write Jalandhar or Pune.

Hi Guys,
I would appreciate your suggestions.
I have taken ielts couple of times now. I also scheduled anther attempt for 30th June.
Recently, i took exam in April and got the results today. I would say i am not happy with my writing score . I am not sure what went wrong this time as 6 is lowest i have got so far and totally unexpected.

Should i go for re-marking ?

Today's results are
Listening : 8.5
Speaking : 8.0
Reading : 7.0
Writing :6.0

Previous attempt
Listening : 7.5
Speaking : 8.0
Reading : 7.5
Writing : 7.5
If you can afford, id say go for reevaluation as well as book a new test. Reeval will take a while, and it may end up not in your favor, you will simply lose time. On the other hand if it does go in your favor, then i guess you can cancel the test (if not already done) and get some amount refunded. Your score is already at CLB10 in 2 categories, so it would be sad to let it go.

Please can somebody check our IELTS. Is this enough for a CLB 9?
Main applicant:
Listening 9
Reading 8.5
Writing 7.5
Speaking 9

Spouse:
Listening 8.5
Reading 9
Writing 7
Speaking 8.5

Is this enough to get maximum points for both applicants?
you get the max. yours (primary applicant) are all CLB 10 and above, and spouse can get max points for CLB 9, any higher does not matter.

What should be the place of study for part Time education ? whether it should be the place where I was physically present or the place where the university is located?
Anyone please help. Thanks
Put the place where you were physically present. And also indicate that education was completed by correspondence by typing in brackets {by correspondence} on the same line as the education institution name found in the Education Background Information tab of GCMS.

Good luck!

Well the big positive from todays draw is to see that CIC is continuing with 3500 ITAs. Another one is 441 is the lowest of 2018 so far. Hopefully the draw will be regular from now on and deep down still hoping for some back to back draws so that score goes down lot quicker.

Personally, I am at 437 and I have never been this close to CRS before. Hopefully it will come down to my score and below soon.
Hi,

All the best, u will hear the good news soon. May I know ur 1.5 years experience is in Canada one?

Thanks in advance,

Hello Senior members!!

Can anyone please let me know till what time can I expect an ITA? Current CRS = 439
I would say you have a good shout in the upcoming draw. But maybe you will miss out on tie break if your profile were submitted later than January, 2018. But surely you will get the ITA within next two draws.

Me myself stuck at 437 and hoping for some good fortune in coming weeks.

Now we need more prediction on this thread? Anyone think the score will drop to 439 this coming draw? I strong believe we will probably see 439 this draw with a tie breaker in Feb, which would clear half of 439. According to my own calculation and previous posts I think there will be 500-600 coming down to 431-440 range. hopefully big enough to clear 440 and dive into 439. Fingers crossed.

All the best to everyone.
it will be 440

My profile was created in August 2017 with CRS 427. In January, because of my birthday it came down to 421. But now, after IELTS re-attempt and sibling reference it became 439. So, will an update impact the tie breaking rule?

When do you think the score might drop to 431? Any chances this year?
