For those who don't have a UCI Number and Application Number, what would you suggest to do in the application forms? Leave the boxes blank or write N/A in them? Thanks.

Thanks for sharing the information, I think your file will have no problem and it won't be returned. Just make sure in the LOE you mention about all the evidences you are providing for proving your relationship with your parents.

By sharing this information, you not only earned likes, but also good karma! Cheer up You application will breeze through the process. Just make sure you check your application multiple times to ensure that you are not missing any information.

- Make sure you check/ pick option one in Question 1 of Part 1: Application to Sponsor and Undertaking IMM-1344 Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (The option one is - sponsorship application will not be processed. All fees will be refunded, except for the $75 sponsorship fee.)

- Do not leave UCI section blank if your parents have dealt with IRCC in the past.

- In Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669), make sure you get your parents signatures after typing their full name in the box.

- For photograph, make sure there is Name, Date of Birth, Address of photo studio and the date photograph was taken, on the back of photo.

- Make sure there are no gaps in-between the dates mentioned in the personal history.

- Provide number of family members as per formula
Parents + Parent's dependent (if any) + Sponsor + Sponsor's Spouse (if applicable) + Sponsor's Children (if any) = Family Size Number

Hello, I already sent my PGP package to ottawa, and they already recieved last friday. And till now i dont recieve any email yet from cic. My question is: as I read your advice about the
IMM5669 in Schedula A- that my parents need also signatures after typing their full name in the box, i get confused. Coz as what i understand that indicate on the top of the box is ( I Agree that typing my name,I Am electronically signing my application) so i just tell to my parents to just type the full name and validate. And no need to sign. Any responce will be appreciated. Thank you.

It's mentioned in the invitation letter you received from IRCC.

"The Schedule A- Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) available on IRCC’s website should be completed electronically, validated and printed. Please ensure that the signature on the form is done by hand once it has been printed"

There was absolutely no info from IRCC to indicate this.

Assume that if you were selected in the lottery, your app will be accepted regardless if they get over 10K. If there was a hard cap at 10K they would have needed to mention this as it would have caused many to get their app completed and mailed a lot quicker.

You must meet LICO for all 3 years using the family size at the time of applying. You needed to verify that you met the income requirement BEFORE applying; it was all right there in the interest form. Way to go on taking a spot from someone who did qualify.

Yes, i was on mat leave plus we both had lesser income because of Fort Mcmurray wildfire

As long as you won a lottery spot, you should expect your app to be accepted as long as sponsor is eligible.

Meeting income requirement is a yes or no question. There is no discretion allowed by visa officers, so reasons for not meeting income are irrelevant. If they see any of the 3 preceding tax years were even $1 short, the app should automatically be rejected.

Hi everyone just sharing, so my package reached Ottawa last April 30,2018, I sent it tru Canada post express last April 24, 2018, coz I'm living in BC. MAY 1, 2018 I received an email asking for Me to submit IMM 5748 coz I answered NO to question 8 on IMM 5768, the address ung the letter is Mississauga, just wanna share this so that you guys please double check the package before submitting it, when I submit mine I thought it's all good, since I missed something on my package I'm thinking it can cause delay,

Hello, In the signature section of Background A form I did not add the name, but just signed it - would this be a problem?. Just to clarify I am not submitting my papers electronically. thanks

Hi,
As in our invitation it says that must sign by hand so I believe electronic names does not matter that much, but if it was other way around that you have entered in your name electronically but forgot to signed physically then there was a problem.
