JUST Go see the doctor, they might have noticed something and not just for PR process but for the health of your parents wants you to notify or do more tests for precautionary reasons. my parents had to go for re medicals and today they got PR.

no never. once they received their stamped passport I guess the validity of that visa probally be length of their expiration for passport. can they wait like a year or so within the validity of their stamped visa to come to Canada?

mom and dad got passport request yesterday without pcc request.

medical passed and ecas permanent resident status shows decision made, but no pcc request. what does that mean?

I am in the same kind of situation, ecas shows decision made, mycic shows medical passed but ircc never requested pcc yet ? my parents travel back and forth to Canada on visitor visa all the time, may be that's why they don't require pcc? I am not entirely sure. let me know please if u find out...

was there any update on mycic account about your file being approved?

my parents medical was passed two weeks ago, but no pcc yet. I checked ecas status today and its showing decision made ( for both sponser and PR). my cic status show background check in progress and still reviewing the eligibility. all confused any insight in this matter will be greatly appreciated?
