I am clueless as well! I made sure with the lady at the place multiple times that everything was correct
I just went and got new photos done at a photo place and sent it straight to the address on the letter..... $40 later

Today has turned into the worst day I defiantly wont be able to make my trip due to how long it may even take for them to get to my re submitted photos Today, I have spent most time cancelling my trip and not doing any work oops haha.
I gotta keep reminding myself this is not the end of the world just a hiccup

Always have a Plan B- try getting your pix done at Costco or London Drugs as they have a money-back guarantee.

It is sad but we have decided to change the dates to September and there's a ton more events happening then that we didn't know about so it's kinda better! However, we are going to be out money about $1,600 that's the flight changes hotels we lost money and re booking things... but money is nothing really we can't look at it like that... so trying to think positive right now!

I sent my photos off yesterday! should be receiving them at the mail center like 2-4 days hopefully... I'm kinda over it already though haha
I also have travel booked for August! so they better not get rejected again!!!

Do you have a visa on your passport that has a future expiry date and no cancelled stamp on it? If yes, you can use that to travel. I have been travelling using that visa even after I landed as PR. Just open your passport to the visa's page and hand it over to the check in representative of your flight and same for your boarding.

How do you explain to the border officer? I thought those visas are cancelled automatically after you land.

You show CoPR to border officer. They can validate you at the border with just your passport too. The only thing you need a PR card or a visa is to be able to board a flight. The airline cares about you having a visa or not, the border services have access to all your records in canada so they can even validate you by just your passport.

I finally managed to linked my PR Application to my CIC account, I resubmitted my pictures last week, they were received on Monday. Now I must wait for the PR card to be approved. My status shows: Submitted, does it mean they have the new pictures?

How do they ask you for the new photo? By email? I just called call center today to double check if I missed any emails from CIC, and they said they didn't send anything yet.

Yes, they sent me an email last Wednesday requesting the photos. My landing date is March 10th. If they haven't reach you it could be that your pictures are fine.

PRTD processing times vary.... when I called to find out about it at the LA office, was told it could take up to 1 month to issue!

I got my PRTD in 4 business days. Took couple of extra days for UPS.
