I think this poster is a truck driver and included the days he crossed over to the states in the application, which don't count. Being a truck driver even waiting six more months won't necessarily accumulate enough days. And since the eligibility period is a rolling window, he/she may not ever get enough days...
He is a truck driver, indeed. So, can I call it discrimination ? Because of the job that I am doing I am being discriminated. I pay taxes on all days worked in the US as a truck driver to the Canadian goverment. And the worst part is that if you ask CBSA they tell you that those days will count as spent in Canada. Waiting to see what MP can do about it. There are thowsends, like me, doing this job, and not aware of how the job is going to impact the application. What options do we have ? Quit the job and do what ? It's nonsense.

What happens in an individual case depends on many, many, many factors.

If you applied in November 2017, my guess is you claimed to have been present in Canada for more than 1095 days but when an IRCC processing agent assessed the facts in your case the agent concluded you were present less than 1095 days.

You are entitled to a Citizenship Judge decision IF you claim you were present at least 1095 days. IRCC cannot summarily deny your application if you claim you were present at least 1095 days. So they have to provide a fair procedure and that includes scheduling you for the test and interview even though the processing agent has concluded you did not actually meet the minimum presence requirement.

If the facts are that you were not physically present in Canada at least 1095 days, there is no point in doing anything other than withdrawing the application.

The real question is if you were not physically present at least 1095 days, why did you apply?

Note: if you were claiming some credit for pre-PR time in Canada and IRCC is not giving you that credit, please provide more information about this.
What if today, I have 1102 days actual days in Canada after including all my trips in the calculator. Can I still "update" this ongoing application or do I have to withdraw it an reaplly, lose the fee and wait seven more months, redo the test to get in this phase ?

It’s not discrimination, it’s already indicated in the rules that if u r only working for Canada government outside Canada that’s when it count u live in Canada that period

Did you get it today, so that I can update the sheet??
I'm really sorry for the late reply

I did my Fingerprints on March 23rd, 2018

But I haven't heard anything since - I haven't even gotten any acknowledgment from CIC saying whether they received my fingerprint or not.

If you're in Kitchener, Waterloo or Cambridge you can get it done at DriverCheck and they automatically send it to RCMP
https://www.drivercheck.ca/services/other-services/

Please update my file regarding my FP date - Thank you for your help in keeping everyone up to date.

Also the RCMP told me after I sent them an email

'Please be advised that the verification in question was completed on 2018-03-26

The result has been returned to the following address as per your application:

TORONTO CITIZENSHIP-CIC
TORONTO CITIZENSHIP OFFICE
25 ST.CLAIR AVE. EAST, 2ND FLOOR
TORONTO ON M4T 1M2'

Hi,
after passing my test, officer told me that we are still waiting on your clearance and it can take up to two month, just keep checking your online application status, does anyone know what does that mean ?
