Master's Degree (India) ECA - Bachelor's Transcripts required by WES?

Hello,

I am from India and did both Bachelors (B.Tech, 4 years) and Masters(M.B.A, 2 years) from India. Although the topic has been discussed in different threads, i wanted to ensure that my interpretation is correct, so if one of the members can help me with my query below, it would be great.

To get your MBA evaluated, did WES require you to send your bachelor's degree transcripts as well, or were the MBA transcripts enough to issue ECA ?

I ask because of this text on WES website, after selecting country as India, which can be interpreted in two different ways.

"For all applicants submitting a Master’s Degree or PGDip earned on top of a three year Bachelor’s Degree (12+3+2) for evaluation, WES requires that you provide your Bachelor’s degree documents, otherwise WES cannot complete the evaluation."

It is easy for me to get transcripts for my Master's degree, but its challenging for me to get transcripts for my Bachelor's degree.

Since mine is a 4 year B.tech + 2 year MBA, I want to make sure that to get ECA from WES for my MBA, would WES need the transcripts for B.tech aswell ?

Any comments/inputs on this would be appreciated.

I actually ended up mentioning just my masters and sent only the masters transcripts and they evaluated it equivalent to Canadian masters.

According to this topic, you only have to send your UK Masters transcript.
If your Master were from india, it would be required to you send both, masters and bachelor.

Asian degrees get a raw deal from WES unfortunately. For Asian degrees, you are expected to send your degree as well as the Masters. In my case I only sent my Masters since mine was from the UK. I got a masters equivalent from WES. But I know many from India do not get a masters equivalent from WES.

Yes the same thing happened with me. Can u also tell me in what category juris doctor is covered in? Is juris doctor degree equivalent to professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession?

I checked using the equivalency tool and got below form their website. Do you still think i should get Bachelor's transcripts?

Name of Degree: Master of Business Administration
Name of Institution: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
Equivalency in Canada: Master of Business Administration
