Do I have to notify HR that I am immigrating?

Hi all,

My letter of employment is provided by HR. My manager knows about my plans, but she left for the long two months to another country and I thought it would be better to get the letter from the Head of HR.

So far she thinks that she gave me the letter for visa purposes. However, I don't want her to sound surprised if she gets a call and they tell her that I am immigrating. Iris not a problem for me to tell her, I just rather not to.

Do you know what they say what they call to confirm employment? Is there an obligation from my side to provide the precise reason for the letter?

For My company HR, they said they won’t even accept calls from government.

You can't know whether they will call to confirm. If the docs provided are satisfactory, then there will be no call. None of my employers got any call from CIC.
