People that have taken the test will not give out specific information where the questions are concerned because it's expressly forbidden to do so. They make a pretty big deal about this when giving instructions.
There are many threads that contain links to practice tests and lots of the same advise. Read the book, take the practice tests, and you'll do fine.

Read the book carefully and go through some of the tests you'll find on the internet.
There's nothing more you actually need to know.
The only hard part :Trying not to sleep or be bored to death during the 20 or 30 minutes they take to explain the test procedure in both langages.

The test is not a game of gotcha. It is designed to help new citizens understand Canada's history and circumstances that shaped the country. You will pass the test if you have a decent grasp of English/French and have prepared adequately.

Hello, I was just wondering: can you memorize all the dates by reading the book twice?? I spent 3-4 days on the "history chapter", trying to memorize all the names and dates. I think I'm overstudying. Ohhh Gosshh... I want it to be over
You're wayyyyyy overthinking and overstudying for this. It's really not necessary to try and memorize all of the dates. LOL, I wish I could show you my notes. The test is on monday and I took 2 days off at work just to study..

You will be fine....like I said earlier the test isn't hard if you have prepared. Most questions are multiple choice as well. Even if you don't remember the exact answer, the options will guide you.
Is the test really that easy? I've done hundreds of practice tests on Richmond Library and Vsoul etc and I've passed 99% of them without ever having read a single page of Discover Canada. Granted, English is my first language which probably helps a lot and I've always been a very keen historian so dates come easy to me but I don't want these practice tests to lull me in to a false sense of security.
I've ordered a hard copy of Discover Canada and will read it but so far these online tests seem too easy to be true, or they keep repeating the same questions over and over again so its impossible to get any wrong after a while, but that in itself isn't of much use as they probably ask completely different questions on the test any way.
I read the online version through, quickly, one time. Then went to the practice tests (apnatoronto.com) and if I didn't get an answer right, I looked it up. Did the whole set of tests three times and had no trouble. It isn't difficult and you can miss 5.

I took the test last week Thursday, finished the examination in less than 3-5 mins and scored 20/20
My advise is that you should not depend only on the online questions, please read and read and read and read discovery Canada book and understand what happened in all places and also read the caption on that book
To me I did so many online questions and didn’t see anyone close to it but with the online questions you will be able to know your weak point then you can go back to the discovery Canada and study that section again.
The questions are easy but you have to read in between the lines in discovery Canada and understand every chapter.
