We didn’t went to honeymoon but my husband during the interview took with him letters from friends and family members, new communication and more pictures, and since we visited each other I think it helps too.

And he was really confident during the interview, he didn’t hesitate on any response.

I didn’t wear white dress, since I never wanted to wear one. I think this was a red flag

Guys I'm an inland applicant...I think they are having delays from Lebanon in responding to their security check...when I called CIC they said that they are dealing with foreign agencies..im guessing its because of elections...I have applied for a new passport 2 months ago and still did not receive it...application received October 2017..application in process...processing background check.

I’m not sure how the elections would affect the background checks but I hope that’s no the case.

I hope so too..the thing is that when I asked them how much time would it take they said it varies because they are dealing with foreign agencies..and I read on the news that their has been some delays with passport requests because of the election..political thing..i know it is stupid..remember this is Lebanon where stupid is a life style.

good luck all, my husband's security check took a year and half...if they are using "elections" as an excuse during my husbands time they used "syrians" as an excuse lol, my husband was interviewed and he didnt get passport request till a year and half after his interview....everyone's situation is obviously different inshallah none of you have to go through what I went through. But my husband was stuck in security check for a very long time and every time i tried asking them whats going on, they would always respond he is undergoing background checks and foreign agencies are being contacted thats why it takes longer. I do also need to mention that I notice female background checks don't take a long time like males. Wish you all the best.

I don’t think the elections have anything to do with processing the visas or not guys ! Don’t worry

For strawberries you are before december 2017??? After this date they should finalize the process within 12 months

Yeah! We should be hearing something soon if we’re all in the background check. So fingers crossed everyone! Hopefully May is a good month or even June
