Hi all,

I am working on the application Mon Project to complete the data needed for the QSWP. I and my husband are considering to include in the application myself and my son only (not the spouse). So the application will be with me as a principal applicant and my son (5 years old) as a dependent child. There is a question in this regard in the application that states the following "Did you obtain a legal document of total custody of the child allowing him to emigrate with you?" (Yes/No).
I don't know how should i answer to this question.....what is the correct answer to provide in this case considering that supporting documentation will be requested at a later phase of the process.
Hope I'm clear with my request.

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Yes. Your spouse should allow your son to immigrate to Canada with you. That s what they ask.
He has to make an affidavit and inform MIDI that he has no objection to allow your son with you.
I am also in the same situation.

Thank you very much for your answer. Highly appreciated! What about the spouse? Should I give any written information on the identity information section (Renseignements sur l’identité)? I have provided info for myself only as a principle applicant and my child as a dependent. Should the spouse be declared as non-accompanying at this stage (submission of the electronic request through mon project)? If yes, how is it done? I do not see other options except Requerant principal-my self, enfant a change-my child and Conjoint-which is not the case for my husband as he will not be included in the application.
Thank you very much.
