Hi guys,

Does anyone have any information regarding the processing of a submitted PR application. Me and my partner submitted today.
I know the advice is 6 months, but does anyone know of any real life examples of actually how long it takes?

Thanks

Hi,
sorry, but any answer to your question wouldn't be accurate. Every case is different and also no every case officer works with the same speed so you can't compare any real life example. Consider those 6 months as a good option.

It will depend on a lot of things, including your stream and your background.

You can check out MyImmiTracker for some average ideas. I think average time from AOR to PPR now is 101 days. This is an average: some people have been getting theirs in 30 days from AOR, some people take 9-12 months. Depending on your personal background, stream, number of documents required, the extensiveness of the background checks they do... All of this can impact your processing.

Having said that, this is from AOR. If you don't have an Invitation To Apply yet you will still have to wait for this and then prepare your application (you have 90 days to do this) and get the AOR. So, from this point your CRS score seems strong enough to get an invite in the next couple rounds, I'd say 6-7 months from now would be reasonable to expect you'd have PPR as long as everything processes smoothly.
