Thank you for your effort and patience in trying to give me options. I do appreciate it.

SK is our first choice as we have relatives there, but sadly, our NOC do not match to the in-demand jobs. So I guess that means we have to disregard SK as an option now.

We do consider, however, Morden as our second choice. We are aware that we have to do an exploratory visit of the province, then off to an interview in Winnipeg. The visit would mean extra cost for us, something that we are still working on at the moment. Plus, our agency requires us to pay an additional fee for creating an account in Morden on top of the other fees required by the immigration. So yeah, it will be a bit expensive but if this is the only choice we have, then we’ll take it as part of our investment for the whole Canadian dream.
Just be aware, that Manitoba has also point deduction (if you have connection to the other province). But then again there are some connections that you would have to reveal (parents, children, siblings) and then there are other connections that you do not have to reveal (more distant family that is not giving you any points for FSW or CRS).

And also if ever you get a job offer you can still use their other stream. In that case you do not have to have qualification from the list.
Another option is to go to study there first and then get nominated.

I have a peculiar problem. I stand at 433. I was trying for a job in Canada. As such my employer promises to let me work at his Canadian location incase I receive visa. And not before that.
Now arranging for finance as well is a little tricky for me due to personal reasons. So a job there might help me. But my employer says this is the best he can do.
How do I tackle this? I don't think I should mention I have a job offer. I m sure they will ask for joining/transfer letter, which I don't have.
Should I show proof of funds now and also when I reach there? Or is it sufficient to show proof of funds just now, (if I ever receive an ITA - I do have hopes sometime this year) and later show only job offer letter?
You must show proof of funds when submitting your e-APR and when landing. What you're describing is not a valid job offer.

But one more doubt, what if my employer does give me a post in his Canadian office location? Will it be accepted as valid job offer? Do I need to show proof of funds then as well?

Unless he goes through the LMIA process (which would be dumb as you're becoming a PR) you wouldn't have a valid job offer.

Stating that they are going to give you a job in their Canadian location does not fulfill the requirements of a valid job offer.

In reality they gave you nothing. What they did was following:
1. Nicely avoided pricey LMIA or any other excessive paperwork.
2. Gave you a far fetch promise that can at any point turn to "Sorry, but with the new management decision we are blocked to hire anybody in Canada right now).
3. If they have opening they will know very well the money you were earning at home, so they can undervalue you a bit and still keep you.

But since they gave you nothing in writing that would be legally binding, then you have nothing other than having additional option upon arriving in Canada.
So from the point of view of CIC you have nothing there.

1)I held two different positions in my first company (got promoted) under same NOC. So should I obtain two different letters from the company or just one letter will do mentioning only the designation I got after being promoted?

2) For my current company the position for which I was hired (mentioned in my offer letter )is now dissolved. So should there be any mention of that particular position in the reference letter?

They go by your Job duties mentioned in the letter. Just get one letter for each company you worked for that tells the To/From dates, Full-Time employee and Job duties.
Friend of mine did that, he had 4 different positions in the company, his letter mentions the above along with the most recent position.
He got his PR BTW.

I have a question along these lines, that I wonder if anybody knows the answer to.

I may soon have a job offer through the Global Talent Stream ( which requires a kind of LMIA ) the job offer is of indefinite duration. Would this qualify for an LMIA backed job offer ? Or does it have to be the specific LMIA to support permanent residency to qualify for express entry points ?

I have been trawling the CIC website for an answer to this, have read the Global Talent Stream and LMIA sections extensively backwards and forwards and it really is not clear on this. Do CIC have any way of contacting them which would be worth using ?

I think the answer is no it does not qualify for express entry, but am not entirely sure.

Hope you are doing great. After last draw I am sure people are much more excited than the start of the year. There are many people who are stuck in several checkpoint specifically compared to other marks. Checkpoints like CRS 441, CRS 438, CRS 435 will observe more people compared to the other marks.

My Question to you will be as we know there are 6551 people as per CIC report in the pool from 431-440, what can be the percentage of people from 435-440? Is the number of people in the lower 430's more than mid/high 430's? What is your analysis on this? thank you
