Yes. It's probably still being background checked. This is not unusual at all.

Question:

One of my friends applied for Citizenship in Oct, 2017 under 3/5 rule--> Got AOR in November --> IP on Dec 07 --> Received a letter yesterday from Sydney dated Dec 18 saying preliminary review on his file is complete & that his file has been sent to Program Support Unit for final review.

Does anybody know what all this is about and how his application might/would be delayed as a result?

For those who have given their tests can you please advise if they ask any questions like in this video? or the are more easy like apna toronto etc.

For those who have given their tests can you please advise if they ask any questions like in this video? or the are more easy like apna toronto etc.

The questions in this video are all in the discover Canada book . Please read that thoroughly and you would be good. I gave the test in March. Not many questions on the dates. If you read the book well, you would find the test easy. Good luck

Hi everyone,

I'm at the following stage:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 16, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 26, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on February 28, 2018.

It appears a lot of people who submitted around the same day have progressed much faster than I have. Am I just unlucky one? Anyone still in In Progress?

Mine is in process since February 15th too .. and nothing so far...
my Application was delivered October 20 .... my friend who sent the same day has his Oath on May 9th ...
We can only wait at this point, it will end up coming
