For others the status of job bank registration shows as pending or accepted but for me there is no such column don't know why. Should I leave it as it is. What do you think?

Spouse funds are also acceptable but not provident fund. Spouse bank statements, fixed deposits are acceptable. If still short on funds you can have parents transfer funds to your account and get a gift deed made.

Hello everyone,

I have a small query. If someone is able to guide me, I'll be really grateful.

It is regarding settlement funds. I am the principal applicant and would be going with my spouse and kid as and when I receive the ITA. Score is 446. However, I do not have necessary funds required for 3 people in my savings account balance or term deposits. My husband's general provident fund (government fund) adequately covers the fund requirement. Will this be accepted by the Canadian authorities or is it necessary that only the principal applicant's account should have the required balance.

Please guide me on how to go about the settlement funds as I am expecting ITA in the near future seeing the current trends.

this is my Ielts GT band i acquired lately , ill be a secondary or dependent applicant wherein my spouse will be a primary applicant (she's a PG and has sustained work experience of 14 years in Shipping & logistics ) what is the minimum score she need to acquire in her IELTS to get a good CRS for us.

another question :
can we submit two EOI
1) I as a Primary and my wife secondary
2) My wife as a Primary applicant and I secondary

is this considered legal by the CIC ? Please clarify

You can create two profiles. its legal.

regarding IELTS, currently for direct invitation, primary applicant has to get L 8, R 7, S 7, W 7 bands (CLB 9) without which it is impossible to get a direct invitation. For PNPs, it totally depends on which province you would like to apply for.

I have a question. I recently created an Express Entry profile. But I am confused about the NOC code. I am a software engineer/programmer and into IT but with a BTech degree in Electronics & Telecommunications. So initially I selected NOC 2173 (Software engineers and designers). But there is another NOC 2174 (Computer programmers & Interactive media developers).

Though the job duties are similar but the employment requirement are different.

While NOC 2173 states:

• A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or mathematics or Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.

NOC 2174 states:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or in another discipline with a significant programming component or Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.

So my question is, being from Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering background, which NOC code will be appropriate for me. Also does the educational background plays a vital role in selecting NOC code.

Please guide me in this as currently I have NOC 2173 in my express entry profile.

if you get direct invitation, then NOC code and JOB role has to match. education is not a problem here.
however if you are applying under PNP, then NOC, JOB and Education should match.

My WES report showing CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY as below:

"Diploma (two years) and bachelor's degree (three years)"

I just want to know how many points i'll get based on above summary in Federal skilled workers (Express Entry)?

According to my understanding, i'll get 22 points as per this education:
"Two or more Canadian post-secondary degrees or diplomas or equal (at least one must be for a program of at least three years)"

Am I right? Please help me.

Hi everyone , can anyone help me. I got my transcript from DU , but by mistake the seal was opened . What should I do? I was planning to get it verified from WES . Will they accept if I go and meet them and explain what happened? Plz help

if they have stamped and signed on the back of the envelope, just tape it yourself and send it to WES. they will accept it. However, if its not stamped at all, visit DU and ask the admin department to seal and sign.

Hello, My mother is 48 years old. She is a teacher from last 17 years. Can she apply for express entry? She is in India right now. I am currently studying in Canada at student visa from last 8 months.

If she gets selected from the express entry and gets the PR of Canada, can she come here get her PR card and go back to India? and start her teaching job again.

At that age, it would be a little difficult however if she can score 8 each in IELTS and she has Masters education, there is a possibility. Did not get a similar case, so can't explore more.

I have a question regarding which degree i should use for application.
My bachelors: Mechanical engineering
Masters: Petroleum Engineering
My work experience: Mechanical industry (Construction)
Please advise on which degree i should apply for express entry.
Is it necessary to have the same experience as the degree you use for application?
I will get extra points for master's degree but do let me know if you have had this situation and suggest what to do.

You will have to get ECA for both degrees and will have to mention both of them in your profile.
If you get a direct invitation, then job and education can be different however if you are going for PNP then they should co-relate.

Hi there friend,

I am sitting at 444 as well and deciding whether to take English test again or not. I am living in small city where I have to travel to nearby big city to take an exam.... (almost 500 dollars for rounding trip plus a test itself). Losing 5 points by age at the end of July... Was hoping to receive the ITA soon but no one can predict when the score will be down to our score.... Getting anxious every day and night. Hope the light will shed to our journey to become PR soon...

give it 24 hours and check again. Let me know if it still doesn't show. I have resources who can fix this or can tell you how to fix it.
