Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hi Guys,

I am in a deep trouble, As I mentioned in my earlier mail that my contact is ending up this week and I have a CSQ and closed workpermit valid for one more year. I have a new job offer from new quebec employer and I requested them to provide offer letter, employer compliance fee receipt and offer of employment letter in order to renew my current workpermit and all are in process with HR.

I am planning to go border to get new workpermit, but as my contact is ending up this week with my previous employer, will I be allowed to go border and get a new workpermit?, If something happens will I be denied to enter back to Canada??

Could you please suggest which one would be best chance Online or go barder to get my new workpermit?, Thanks in advance

I am in a similar situation as well. I think it would be ok if you have entry visa for canada, it does not depend on your work permit. But for sure flag poling is more risky than online application. correct me if i am wrong, i am interested in this topic too.

I have TRV (VISA) valid for one more year. I am getting so tensed as I have only 3 more days to finish my contract and also my HR delaying to provide all documents.

If I apply online it would take nearly 1.5 months to get new workpermit and I don't want to sit ideal till then. Has anyone been at this situation before and how border officer reaction, will they check with current employer that he is still working or not?,

Worst case if I get all the documents on next week, how can I proceed ????, please sug

If you have a VISA for Canada then you should be fine

Application received on Feb 13, 2017, so entering month 15 today.... Suspense is building... (as is impatience)

It's also been a month since I requested GSCM notes....

I should be hearing something soon, right...?

Check your GCMS note, usually they extend it from 6 to 9 months. THey did for me!

I have done a medical exam for Work permit in August 2017. Could I use the same one for my PR application?
I would like to know how could I submit my medical result to CIC before they ask for it, if is possible?
My Visa Office is Hong Kong.
