Hello everyone,

I am in work permit visa in Calgary.My son is 4 years old. He has severe speech delay. Doctor diagnosed and confirmed the same he has speech development as 1 yr old boy. Also doctors supected he has Autism. Still we are yet get official report. He is going to special school.

Question: if I apply PR because of medical reason for my they will reject in medical test ? Also my PR application?

Please guide me.

Unfortunately there is a good possibility that you could be denied PR because of your son's delays and potential autism. It is not only the costs of medical treatment but the cost of special schooling and therapy that is looked at. As you may be aware there is often along waiting list to access therapy for autism.

There are changes made today for people with disability. Read it through. You might be lucky with the new changes.
