Hi everyone!
On March 20, I got my AOR (just a few minutes after I submitted my application).
On March 28, I got the "You passed the medical exam" update.
But BG status still shows "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check". After reading about the timeline of the application processing on the internet, I was hoping that I would pass the IP1 stage in the following few days but it's been 10 days. I read that usually the IP1 is completed a few hours/days after getting the medical pass. Am I mistaken in thinking that I still am in IP1 stage?

Looks like processing wording has changed. no more NA2 . we must wait to see how it has changed.

I found I got MEP and IP2 at the same time

I feel that the tide has turned...people are getting IP2 after MEP, people are stuck at IP1 for ridiculously long time. I don't think I am able to predict cic anymore. I give up.

Is CIC taking a long, long vacation? please tell me if someone has an explanation of why are our files not moving forward... I am just really anxious now.

Hi Kamal, Has your BG status been updated yet or are you still in IP1 stage? I got MEP on March 27 but am still in IP1...

Still in IP1, but its just 2 days I passed Medical. I hope it will change in next week, & u shouldn't worry about in your case also. You will get it soon.

Also, what is your stream(because it also matters)? Mine is PNP

I got AOR on March 6 as well.
On March 17, got IP2. No updates since then!

I have no idea what they're up to. Also emailed them to find out my VO, no response. Do you know your VO?

I called them to check my vo from them. At least you are in the next stage I am stuck at IP1

They might or might not ask for it during their review of your application, so to be on the safe side, you can send it online via CSE (case specific enquiry) and ask them to attach it to your file.

Send a CSE as soon as possible. I read on a forum that someone's file got rejected as he forgot to submit his IELTS document.

No issue. You don't get ielts slot in document checklist.

If CiC needs it they will send additional document request.

Yes, they did. My VO is Ottawa, who is currently sleeping under a cosy blanket, though they sometimes open their eyes to look at the snow from the window and give PPRs to a few CEC applicants.

Yea, your sarcasm fits in perfectly. Seems like they are prioritizing application from the US much more. Feels we gonna have to wait much more in IP1 compared to few months ago. Let's hope this week we gonna have some encouraging update!
